This free community event is for householders who want to improve the comfort of their
home and reduce energy bills as cost-effectively as possible. Organised by Net Zero Channel,
the Winter Energy Get-Together brings together Net Zero Channel, the Channel Mens Shed
and Australian Electric Vehicle Association to help local households make practical changes
that actually work.
You’ll hear how to get started, learn what makes the biggest difference for real local
householders, learn why electrification is a big game changer, and meet some folk who have
gone to full electrification, including EVs. The focus is on simple, achievable steps, whether
you’re just starting out or looking for your next improvement.
This is a relaxed, informative session designed to share real experiences, real savings, and
real changes happening in our community.

Plugging Into the EV Revolution

For impartial advice from an expert and the opportunity to meet local EV owners, join us at Kettering Hall, Tuesday 12th May, from 7pm to 8.15pm when Jon Ettershank, President of AEVA (Australian Electric Vehicle Association) Tasmania will discuss the current EV market and likely direction from a Tasmanian perspective. There will be plenty of time for questions with follow-up discussions over a glass of wine or a soft drink.
There’s no need to book and all are welcome. The meeting is organised by Net Zero Channel
