‼️A message directly from Ipswich City Council ‼️

Good afternoon,

I am writing to your association about the ongoing parking issues which occur during Saturday fixtures and training afternoon/nights. Council will be conducting parking patrols around the vicinity during these times.

Please find below a map which indicates where vehicles are not permitted to park and players and supported are encouraged to park within the designated carpark. Players and supporters should also be mindful of residential driveways and not park across private driveways. If you are able to place this on your social media platforms to advise players and supporters of acceptable parking around the complex. In addition to this if you are able to reminder players/supporters on the day via public announcements that no parking is to take place on the verge along Chubb Street.

I look forward to working together to improve safety around vehicle movements during weekend fixtures/training afternoons.

Get ready for a once-in-a-lifetime softball experience! For one special day only, players from the Aussie Spirit, Japan, and the New Zealand White Sox will come together to deliver an action-packed junior clinic at Downey Park, Queensland.

This is an incredibly rare opportunity for young athletes to learn directly from some of the best softball players in the world. Expect high-energy drills, fun games, expert coaching, and unforgettable moments with three world-class national teams!

💜 Meet the Player – Cylus 💜
Cylus has been playing softball for around 6–7 years and is now a strong member of our A2 Men’s team! He loves playing centre field or second base — anywhere he can make big plays and stay in the action. 🥎🔥

One of his favourite memories is batting in the winning run during state championships, a moment any player would be proud of! His biggest achievement so far? Representing NSW’s State Team — an incredible milestone. 👏💙

Cylus’ favourite part of softball is all the friends and connections he’s made along the way. And fun fact — he’s an F1 nerd! 🏎️💨

💜 Meet the Player – Montana R 💜
Montana has been playing softball for over 12 years, beginning all the way back in Rookieball! Now part of our A Ladies team, she shines at first base and left field — and can pretty much play anywhere you put her. A true all-rounder! 🥎🔥

One of Montana’s favourite memories is hitting a home run during the 2025 Open Women’s tournament, securing the win for her team! She’s also incredibly proud to have represented Ipswich at multiple levels and to play alongside some amazing women. 💪✨

Her favourite part of softball? Watching her brother and sister mess up during their games — true sibling energy! 😂 And when she’s not on the diamond, you’ll probably find her at a concert… she’s been to heaps over the past three years! 🎶💜
