🌿✨ FRIDAY FUNDAY – CONNECTING, LEARNING & EXPLORING! ✨🌿

Today our Connections crew headed out for a day of community, connection and adventure!

Our first stop was Myall Creek Memorial, a place of great significance and remembrance. We took the time to respectfully acknowledge the history and significance of this important place.

From there, it was off to Bingara for some exploring, plenty of smiles, good company and making memories together! ☀️🙌

A Friday filled with learning, connection, community and a little bit of fun along the way!

🌟Pyjama Day at Connections!🌟

Today we swapped our everyday clothes for our favourite pyjamas to celebrate National Pyjama Day!

It was a wonderful day filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of cosy vibes as everyone enjoyed spending time together, participating in activities, and making great memories.

National Pyjama Day is also a chance to raise awareness and support children in foster care, making today about more than just wearing comfy clothes.

Our participants enjoyed a wonderful day of community engagement, beginning with a visit to Inverell Racecourse to watch the races, and then with some indoor activities at Indoor Insports Arena Centre and lunch at the sporties.

Outings like these provide valuable opportunities to build social connections, develop independence, and actively participate in the local community. It was great to see everyone engaging with their surroundings, enjoying new experiences, and spending time with friends.

We are proud to support meaningful community participation and help create positive experiences that encourage confidence, inclusion, and connection.

A special thank you to Dave at the Inverell Insports Arena for welcoming our group and allowing us to enjoy the facilities and games. Your support helps make these community experiences possible and enjoyable for our participants.
