The Men's Health Education Rural Van is coming back in town. The 'meherv' is in Inverell for two day - 15 September 2026 (9.30am to 4.15pm and the 16 September 2026 (9.30am to 4.15pm) alongside the Town Hall.
The Men’s Health Education Rural Van is a regional project made possible by fundraising, generous sponsorship and time freely given by hundreds of Rotary Volunteers.
A custom built caravan with a dedicated Registered Nurse travels the state of New South Wales offering free health screenings to regional and rural men, who are notorious for being completely in the dark about the state of their health.
10 minutes is all it takes.

Supporting the next generation of community leaders.

Inverell Rotary was proud to sponsor Hollie Purvis to attend the RYPEN (Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment) camp at Bonny Hills in June.

Hollie attended RYPEN seeking an opportunity to further develop her leadership skills. She has been a member of Inverell Scouts for eight years and has recently joined the Youth Council Committee and the Youth Think Tank with Ladybug Projects Inverell.

Hollie shared the RYPEN experience with 25 other participants, developing valuable skills in teamwork, communication, leadership and confidence.

As a Year 11 student at Macintyre High School, Hollie is to be commended for stepping outside her comfort zone, embracing new experiences and continuing to develop the skills that will help her make a difference in her community.

What a wonderful experience for Hollie!

Congratulations, Hollie. Inverell Rotary is proud to have supported you on this journey and looks forward to seeing where your leadership takes you next.

Youth today, leaders tomorrow.
