We attended the Business NSW Tech Forum yesterday in Inverell.

A big thank you to Business NSW - New England North West for hosting such an informative event focused on technology, AI, connectivity, and the future of regional business.

We appreciated hearing from industry leaders including Telstra, University of New England, AU, Chill.IT and HLD Software.

We were also grateful to hear from: Kate Dight - Mayor for Inverell Shire Council Monique Krause from the Inverell Chamber of Commerce & Industry & Tim Coates, NENW Regional Advisory Council.

It was great to connect with other regional businesses and gain practical insights into building capability for a strong digital future in our regional communities.

National Volunteer Week is a great reminder of the many people who help strengthen our communities through volunteering.

Thinking about getting involved? Come along to Moree’s Community Volunteer Expo tomorrow at CCNI's Moree Campus, 53 Greenbah Road, starting at 9am and discover how 2026 could be Your Year to Volunteer.

Meet local organisations, explore opportunities and find out how you can make a difference in your community.

Across the country, volunteers are the reason communities feel like more than just places we pass through.

They create connection, build trust, and help shape spaces where people feel seen, supported, and part of something bigger.

This National Volunteer Week, we recognise and thank the people already doing this work every day. Thank you for giving your time, care, and attention in ways that strengthen not just communities, but people’s lives.

This could be your year to connect and step into your community in a way that feels genuine and grounded, where relationships are built over time and a sense of belonging grows naturally.

Volunteering creates connection that is real, lasting, and deeply human.

Make 2026 your year to volunteer.

This week is National Palliative Care Week — a time to recognise the importance of compassion, dignity and human connection in supporting people through life-limiting illness, ageing, disability and end-of-life care.

At CCNI, these values are closely connected to the work we do through training in Aged Care and Disability Support.

Support work is about far more than practical skills. It’s about communication, empathy, respect, emotional resilience and helping people feel safe, heard and valued during some of life’s most challenging moments.

As regional communities continue to grow and change, caring roles are becoming increasingly important — not only in professional settings, but within families and communities as well. Because Care matters — at every stage of life.

Congratulations Izzy from everyone at CCNI! We are so proud to have been part of your learning journey.⭐🎓👏
