Inverell Legacy provides the following support to the children & students enrolled with our club:
• school fees
• childcare, after school care & vacations care fees
• a laptop & internet access
• extracurricular activity costs (including sport, music, dance, gymnastics, horse riding)
• uniform, shoes, textbooks, stationery, school excursions & other school necessities
• Tuition if needed
• Legacy & school camp costs
• University costs
• Birthday & Christmas presents

This costs up to $5,000 per child or student per year. You can help by making a donation or purchasing merchandise.

It’s Legacy Week! Please support us by purchasing merchandise or making a donation.

Inverell Legacy currently supports 101 people including 23 children/students. 100% of all donations & merchandise sales will be used to support our local veteran's families.

In Inverell merchandise is available from:
• Our Office, Rear of Flanders House, Oliver Lane, Inverell
• Gwenneth Daley Legacy Centre, 79 Byron St, Inverell
• Inverell Public School
• Inverell stalls, Wednesday morning, Thursday, Friday & Saturday morning – Post Office, RDR Real Estate, Big W, Woolworths & back of Prices Plus (FDBs)
• Mobile sellers in the CBD – Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday mornings
All Inverell stalls have eftpos.

Merchandise is also available in:
• Bundarra at the Central School & look out for students selling in town
• Yetman store
• Warialda at the Golf & Bowling Club
• Texas from stall outside Hong Yuens on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
• Bingara from the stalls outside IGA & Meat on Maitland on Thursday & Friday morning
• Delungra, Friday night at the pub

Free click & collect is available or we can post at cost.

🎖️ Legacy Week 2026 is just around the corner, starting Sunday, 30 August!

We are busy getting everything ready, and we want to extend a massive thank you to the fantastic students from Macintyre High School who came out last week to help us pack our merchandise trays. We couldn't have done it without you! 🙌

The Department of Veterans’ Affairs is currently seeking adult children of veterans aged 18 years and over to participate in the 2026 Veteran Families Forum.

Growing up in a military or veteran family can shape every stage of life. Your lived experience can help inform future policies, improve support services, and ensure the voices of military and veteran children continue to be recognised.

If you are 18 years or older and the child of a current or former serving veteran, we encourage you to submit an Expression of Interest.
