REMINDER - NO DINNER SERVICE THIS EVENING

Due to the bushfire out at Stannifer/Brodies Plains, along with illness, work commitments, and family commitments, we have made the decision to close our Wednesday dinner service this week.

We are thinking of everyone impacted by the fires, and are so thankful for the invaluable work of the RFS & VRA out on the ground.

See you all next week!

It's Wednesday, and our super chef Dot is in the kitchen cooking us up a traditional favourite - silverside, with mash, carrot & cabbage. Yum yum!!

Food For The Soul runs every Wednesday night, from 5pm, to provide a delicious two course meal to anyone in the Inverell community who needs a meal, or some company. We are an independent registered charity, funded entirely by our generous local community donors, and run by volunteers from all walks of life united in a single mission - to feed Inverell.

Find us in the Salvation Army hall from 5pm - entry is via the back lane.

Donations on the night are accepted but not expected.

We believe kindness changes lives.

While the cat's away, the meeses will play... Zoe has headed off on a well earned break and left Rach in charge, so how does hamburgers and icecream sound?

FFTS is an independent registered charity, run by volunteers from all walks of life and funded by generous community donors, united by a single mission - to feed Inverell.

Whether you are trying to stretch the grocery budget, or need a reason to get out of the house for some good conversation, we welcome you to join us.

Doors open at 5pm for tea & coffee, with dinner served around 5:30pm.

Soup glorious soup!! Living up to our name as SOUP kitchen tonight - with the mild winter we've been having, it hasn't been on the menu much, but tonight we are serving up a duo of delicious soups to chase those mid-week blues away!

FFTS is an independent registered charity, funded solely by our generous local donors, and run by our dedicated volunteers who come from all walks of life, united by a single mission - to feed Inverell.

Whether you need a bit of company on the long winter nights, or could use a meal that doesn't come out of the grocery budget (and that you don't have to cook!!), we would love to have you at our table.

Find us in the Salvation Army Hall in Vivian St - enter via the back lane. Doors open around 5pm for tea & coffee, with dinner served at 5:30pm.

I was invited to hang out with the year 9 students at MHS today.
We cooked up a storm. Talked about those less fortunate. I had a great time 😀

💫Year 9 students cooked with Zoe from ‘Food for the Soul’ today 🍲🥘. Meals were made for freezing, so they could be given out when needed. Students also cooked two large trays that will be used for next week's Food For the Soul meal. Year 9 hospitality are learning about food equity and helping others. All worked exceptionally well in their groups to complete this task.
