headspace Hervey Bay provides free health and community services for young people aged 12-25. headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation.

We help young people who are going through a tough time. Looking for someone to talk to? If you're 12-25, you can get health advice, support and information from headspace. With centres all around Australia, headspace can help you with:

• General health
• Mental health and counselling
• Education, employment and other services
• Alcohol and other drug services

So we're here for you if you:

• Are feeling down, stressed or can't stop worrying
• Haven't felt like yourself for a long time
• Can't deal with school or finding it difficult to concentrate
• Are feeling sick or worried about your health
• Want to cut down on your drinking or drug use
• Want to talk about sexuality, identity or relationships
• Are having difficulties with friendships
• Have sexual health issues or want to find out about contraception
• Are being bullied, hurt or harassed
• Are worried about work or study or if you're having money trouble

headspace Hervey Bay is a place you can go to talk to someone about any of these issues. You can also use eheadspace; a confidential, free and secure space where young people 12 - 25 or their family can speak with a qualified youth mental health professional. headspace was established and funded by the Commonwealth Government of Australia in 2006. Our primary focus is the mental health and wellbeing of all Australians. We know that getting help early is the key to resolving these problems quickly. headspace is making a difference where it is needed most - our young people. headspace Hervey Bay provides free to low cost* health services for young people 12-25 years old on the Fraser Coast. We are an inclusive service and does not discriminate regardless of race, cultural background, religion, sexual orientation, gender, or disability. headspace Hervey Bay provides free (dependant on circumstances) to low cost health services for 12-25 year olds on the Fraser coast. To discuss if there is any potential cost please call centre on (07) 4303 2100. headspace Hervey Bay is a bulk-billing practice, using the Better Access program for bulk-billed allied health services. All young people presenting at the centre must have a valid Medicare Card to be eligible for bulk billing with private practitioners. 💚 Community supporting community! 💚

We are grateful to be able to share our excess women's health products with ! 🚺

While we provide free feminine hygiene products for the young people who access our centres, we recently had more stock than we could use. We were so happy to share them with this incredible organisation supporting women and children impacted by domestic and family violence.

Thank you for the role you play in creating safe spaces for our Fraser Coast community! 💜🤝

😴💚 Our staff gathered yesterday to celebrate Pyjama Day!

With PJs, plenty of laughs, and a shared lunch, everyone brought a little piece of home comfort into the office. Safe to say it was a very comfy day ☕🧸✨

🌈✨ What a night! ✨🌈

Music pumping, lights glowing and a dance floor that saw plenty of Macarena, HOT TO GO! and Nutbush action. There was no shortage of fun at Bright Night! 💃🕺🪩

More importantly, Bright Night created a space where LGBTQIA+ young people could come together, celebrate who they are, build new friendships and strengthen existing connections 💚

In regional communities, finding your people isn't always easy, which is why nights like these matter. Through shared experiences, meaningful conversations and plenty of laughter, young people were able to connect in a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment 🌈✨

A huge thank you to our special guest speaker from headspace Capalaba for sharing their experiences, for hosting us, and Domino's Pizza for generously donating pizza and helping keep everyone fuelled for a night of dancing and connection 🍕🙌

Here's to community, belonging and celebrating our incredible LGBTQIA+ young people! 💜🏳️‍🌈

These leadership roles help guide the strategic direction of the consortium, foster collaboration between member organisations, and support strong governance and decision-making.
We're looking for individuals who:
✅ Have leadership and facilitation experience
✅ Can build and maintain strong partnerships
✅ Have governance, community, or sector experience
✅ Are committed to youth wellbeing
