We’re incredibly proud to announce that Zoe’s Fight Foundation has been named an official charity partner of the Geelong Running Festival 2026.

By joining our team, you’ll help us raise vital funds for paediatric brain cancer research and provide support for children and families facing a brain cancer diagnosis.

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted how I’ve been feeling. To be honest it’s been a hard month celebrating another birthday milestone without her. I also feel our posts are just not been seen, and then I think do people not want to see me post about brain cancer awareness and all my memories of Zoe. Or am I overthinking it. …

Anyway I’m just leaving this here… my beautiful, courageous and strong 5 year old daughter. Zoe was always trying to make us laugh in her toughest moments ever through brain cancer and always asked why other kids were still in hospital on the times she got home. Zoe you taught us so much, to love , to hope and live life to the fullest.

I really hope that one day medical researchers find better treatments and ultimately a cure for brain cancer.

Thankyou honestly to all of our community who continue to support us in in raising awareness and funds for brain cancer in Zoe’s memory, but also all of those children who are in heaven from this disease or who are here with us today.

To our beautiful daughter Zoe, Happy 14th Heavenly Birthday .
I honesty don’t know how to start to describe how i feel today. Missing you immensely, trying to ease the grief by making memories with Max. I know that you always wanted mummy and daddy to be happy again. You will be smiling down today watching us make memories with Max. Zoe you always were such a beautiful, happy & kind hearted little girl. If only you were here in this world to share your kindness. But I guess in a sense you still are sharing your heart and kindness with helping us raise funds for brain cancer in your legacy. Just not where we dreamt of being 9 years ago. Wish I was able to give you big cuddle to teenage Zoe today. Hope you’re having some cake up in heaven, I’m sure all of our grandparents are spoiling you with a delicious bbq and homemade sponge. Thankyou for all of you have messaged, called & commented. I do appreciate all the love and support. 😘

Words often don’t come very easy on the eve of Zoe’s birthday. I think back to the day she was born and all of her amazing 5 birthday’s we celebrated with our Zoe. These special milestones are always memories we will treasure forever.

Because I’m feeling sad, I thought why not share some special news today to cheer me up & hopefully give you all something to look forward to.

For us May was a time of celebrating Zoe’s birthdays with her, now because brain cancer took her life, we blow out candles on her birthday day without her and raise awareness for brain cancer.

Having a child diagnosed with brain cancer (or any cancer for that matter) is not a club you ever want to be apart of.. but I’m always so inspired by all the fighters and families that advocate hard for brain cancer.

Unfortunately brain cancer still to this day kills more children and adults under 40 than any other disease.

This is just not good enough.

Zoes fight foundation continues to help raise awareness and raise funds to help give us others with brain cancer a better chance at survival.

You can help by sharing this post or commenting or liking. Because well let’s be honest. I don’t post a lot these days, bit busy with my little baby Max (not such a baby anymore).

This May, we’re inviting schools and early learning centres across Geelong to come together for a meaningful cause — supporting children and families affected by brain cancer.
💛 Go Grey in May for Zoe’s Fight Foundation 💛
You can get involved in a fun and simple way:
✨ Wear grey for a gold coin donation
✨ Host a grey-themed day or activity
✨ Organise a mini fundraiser at your school or centre
✨ Help us spread awareness among your community
Every dollar raised helps support vital research and provides assistance to families doing it tough.
This is a wonderful opportunity to teach kindness, community, and compassion — while making a real difference.
