Nominations open for 2025 Nutrien Ag Solutions Livestock Exporter Young Achiever of the Year

The Australian Livestock Exporters’ Council (ALEC), in partnership with Nutrien Ag Solutions, is now calling for nominations for the 2025 Livestock Exporter Young Achiever of the Year award.

This award is open to individuals aged 35 and under who are active contributors to the livestock export sector. It aims to recognise a young professional demonstrating exceptional commitment, leadership and passion for their industry.

The 2025 recipient will be given the opportunity to participate in the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation’s TRAIL Emerging Leaders program with travel and accommodation costs covered.

ALEC CEO, Mark Harvey Sutton, said that while the industry had gone through immense change over the past year, celebrating its emerging leaders was essential to the industry’s ongoing strength and success.

“Our industry offers unique opportunities and fulfilling careers from agricultural operations to international engagement. This award recognises those who are the next generation of leaders in our industry,” he said.

Colby Ede, Northern Livestock Manager for Nutrien Ag Solutions’ East Region said the award plays an important role in developing leadership across the supply chain.

“This award shines a spotlight on the dedication and talent of young people working in the livestock industry. Nutrien Ag Solutions is proud to continue to support this initiative and invest in the next generation of leaders.”

The 2025 Young Achiever of the Year will be announced at the Livestock Export Industry Gala Dinner at the LIVEXchange conference in Perth.
