Our Saturday Halloween Leathercraft Class was heaps of fun and creativity, a little bit of spooky magic, and some fantastic results! From start to finish, amazing work bringing these Halloween creations to life.

It's always wonderful to see what happens when people come together, try something new, learn a skill, and have a bit of fun along the way.

WELL DONE to everyone who came along on Saturday! You should all be proud of what you've created.

💚 MENTAL HEALTH MONDAY 💚

A new week is here, and with it comes another opportunity to check in with ourselves and those around us.

Some Mondays we feel ready to take on the world, and other Mondays simply getting out of bed and putting one foot in front of the other is an achievement in itself. Both are okay. ❤️

* Take a moment to slow down.
* Reach out to someone you haven't heard from in a while.
* Give yourself permission to rest when you need it.
* And remember, a simple "How are you really going?" can make a world of difference to someone who might be struggling.

Here at Bootstraps, we believe in the power of connection, community, and having a safe place where you can simply be yourself. No judgement, no expectations, just people supporting people.

Whether you've had a busy week at work, been running around after the family, tackling that never-ending to-do list, or simply doing your best to get through each day, give yourself a little credit. ❤️ Sometimes just showing up and putting one foot in front of the other is an achievement in itself!

🤠 ALSO OFF THE WORKBENCHES THIS WEEK! 🧵

There’s always something interesting happening around the Bootstraps workbenches, and this week is no exception!

Sam has been busy creating these adorable little cowgirl boot keyrings! How cute are they? These little beauties would make perfect gifts or a little treat for yourself!💕

Meanwhile, Rob is continuing to work on his impressive tool holder, and we have a feeling this one is going to be EPIC when it’s finished! With all his tools organised and in one place, it’s going to be a pretty handy addition to his workspace. We can’t wait to see the finished result!

From small and sweet creations to practical projects with a purpose, you just never know what you’ll find taking shape at Bootstraps!

It’s all about learning, creating, sharing skills and enjoying the process along the way. ️

BACK TO THE WORKBENCH FOR OUR CERTIFICATE II STUDENTS!

After a well-deserved break, our Certificate II in Leather Production students are back for their final term, and what a way to kick things off! 👏

Today, the students got stuck into learning how to cut out and assemble a pattern for some very special horse armour! ️🐎 They also spent time practising with the pyrography tools and preparing for the next stage of this exciting project.

There’s plenty of learning, creativity and hands-on work ahead, and we have a feeling this final term is going to be a fantastic one!

We can't wait to see how this project comes together and, most importantly, to share the finished result with you all.

Well done to our students for jumping straight back in and getting started. We’re looking forward to seeing what you create next!
