WE ARE CELEBRATING 50 YEARS!

TO ALL CURRENT & PAST MEMBERS,
With only 3 weeks to go to the Long Weekend on 6, 7, & 8 June, now is the time to register. You can do this by going to the Club Website, -nissanpatrolclub.org - and if you don’t want to cook, Saturday and Sunday dinner will be provided for a small fee of $20 per person per night.
Please register by 29th May for dinners.
We have a HUGE weekend planned packed with fun games and events with prizes to be won.

WE ARE CELEBRATING 50 YEARS!

YES, the Nissan Patrol 4WD Club of NSW & ACT is turning 50 in 2026 and we want to share our celebrations with PAST and CURRENT MEMBERS in attendance. Our first event of the “PICNIC IN THE PARK” at Lane Cove NP was a great success. Now, with the Long Weekend on 6, 7, & 8 June only 1 month away, marks our ACTUAL BIRTHDAY WEEKEND and we have a huge weekend planned (see full details attached).

A SPECIAL WORKING BEE is planned for 23 & 24 May, and your help is needed to establish the tracks for the FUNKHANA. This will also give you the chance to practice the course before the main event. The regular Working Bee on 30 & 31 May will be used as a follow-up to fine tune the course, as well as for the usual general maintenance required.

WE WANT TO SEE MANY CLUB MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE.

To celebrate the club’s 50th Anniversary, the committee has planned several events throughout the year. The first was the picnic in the park at Lane Cove National Park in February. The June long weekend is next event to be held at the club’s property.

Tania Schembri has planned an entertaining weekend comprising of a funkhana, trivia, an observation rally, some drives around the property and the area. Dinner and nibbles will be provided Saturday and Sunday evening in the shed for a a nominal amount. There will also be tea, coffee and sweet things at the shed over the weekend.

To make this happen we need your help to set up the funkhana tracks, as well as some other infrastructure for the weekend. The land working bee 25/26 April as well as the May working bee has been set aside to complete the work needed. To say thank you for your help, all meals will be provided on Saturday, and breakfast and lunch on Sunday.

Please register to come down to help, as it is as much a working a bee as a social weekend down at the club’s property.

An email will be sent to all current members with the link.
At this meeting, we will, voting on changes to the Club’s Constitution & By-Laws, and voting in our new Committee Members for 2026-27.

The survey has options for 4WD and Trail riding as activities just be careful which areas you list.
