Each issue of CPN usually has a mix of announcements, general interest articles, cultivar descriptions, and scientific papers. In this issue we are delighted to have a study and species descriptions finally documenting the previously unresolved status of Sarracenia wherryi. This paper is a great example of science in action. The other articles highlight our education program to place carnivorous plants in classrooms, exploring remote locations to document the plants present, a way to determine taxonomic differences, and what it takes to develop and announce interesting cultivars.
