Thursday last week our centre had it's centre accreditation. Thank you to National Accessor Julie Osborne for making the trip down from her centre Capricorn in Pinjar to conduct our accessment.

RDA Murray Mandurah currently has a small number of vacancies available. These positions are limited to riders who meet specific age requirements and are available at the designated times.

While we do maintain a waitlist, individuals on the waitlist seem to not be suitable for these particular vacancies.

Australia Day 2026.

Members of our centre attended the Shire of Murray Australia Day citizen of the year awards on Monday.

It was a wonderful morning where a bacon, egg, sausage and baked bean breakfast was made by Lions Club of Pinjarra.

It was then followed by the Community Citizen awards for 2026.

Congratulations to all the people who were nominated in each of the catagories.

This years winners were

Youth Community Citizen : Amelia Ticehurst
Community Group of the year : Murray Music and Drama Club
Senior Community Citizen : Wilbur Graham
And
Community Citizen : RDA Murray Mandurah volunteer Belinda Brown.

Congratulations to all the nominees on the day and to all the very worthy winners especially our Secretary and volunteer Co-ordinator Belinda.

Belinda would like to thank Amber for the nomination. The Shire of Murray, The Australia Day Council, and Department of Communities for running of such a wonderful event and to all the sponsors of the awards.

The Shire of Murray’s Australia Day even saw 33 new Australian citizens welcomed at Edenvale Heritage Precinct alongside winners of the 2026 Community Citizen of the Year Awards.

🌟What a night! 🌟

On the evening of International Volunteer Day, our President Wayne and Secretary/Volunteer Co-ordinator Belinda attended the Peel Resource Centre's, Alcoa Volunteer of the Year Awards, set in the stunning Eden Vale Precinct.

The event celebrated the incredible individuals and organisations who give so much to the Peel community — and we were deeply honoured to be nominated for Community Group of the Year. While we weren’t selected as the winner, we were surrounded by extraordinary groups doing inspiring work, and it was a true privilege to stand alongside them. 💚

We are very appreciative to the individual who nominated our group, and saw the value and dedication in the work we do. Thank you. 💖

🎉 RDA Murray Mandurah Break-Up Day 2025 – A Day to Remember! 🎉

On 22nd November 2025, we celebrated an unforgettable Break-Up Day with our amazing riders! 🐴💖

The day was filled with smiles, laughter, and so much fun! The riders had the chance to showcase their incredible skills to their families with special rides, and there was no shortage of excitement with 3 bouncy castles 🏰, a face painter 🎨, and all the delicious treats like popcorn, fairy floss, and a classic sausage sizzle 🌭.
