Thank you Anna for sharing the pastries and fruit with our Tuesday group. Thanks also for you and Lesley spending time talking with attenders at Community Kitchen

Connecting with our community during Homelessness Week 💙

Earlier this week, Shire staff visited the Pinjarra Community Kitchen to connect with community members through genuine conversations and provide Danish pastries and whole fruit alongside the regular meal.

An Australian Bureau of Statistics Census Field Officer also joined us to answer questions and help community members prepare for the upcoming Census.

If you'd like to help, the Pinjarra Alliance Church accepts donations of household items and food for those who need it- every contribution helps make a difference! 🫶

Thank you so much to those who contributed to the hampers we are able to provide for struggling families during the Christmas season. Working with the local school chaplains and our Tuesday lunches, we were able to help 52 families with a large hamper in a washing basket.
Sponsors included: Alcoa Australia; Pinjarra Chiropractic; Peel Slot Car Club; the 5 local churches of Pinjarra; David Bolt MLA; Murray House Resource Centre.

A big thanks to all our friends who helped Pinjarra Community Kitchen produce the Christmas Lunch for over 60 people last December. PCK is a work of the combined churches of Pinjarra and we had a great time and were able to help many who are doing it tough in our community. We were also able to deliver lunches to a number of people who are unable to get out and about.
THANKS TO OUR SPONSORS: Alcoa Australia; Shire of Murray for the use of the Lesser Hall; Peel Slotcar Club; and also many other individuals who are generous but want to remain in the background. This really is a COMMUNITY Kitchen!
If you are in need or doing it tough, we provide a free meal and small food parcels every Tuesday at the Pinjarra Alliance Church opposite the Vibe service station near the High School. You are welcome to join us between 11am & 1pm.
