Eildon RSL - Sub Branch

Eildon RSL - Sub Branch Eildon RSL is a small community minded RSL sub-branch located in North Central Victoria.

We are dedicated to raising money to help aide veterans and their families and support community We are a group of volunteers, our intention is to raise money for the benefit and well-being of veterans and their families. We also aspire to encourage our local community young and old alike to remember and honour the service and sacrifice of Australians in war and peacekeeping. Together, lets ensure that the spirit of remembrance continues to resonate for generations to come.

Anzac Day 2026 – Eildon
It was a beautiful morning in Eildon today, with clear skies and sunshine greeting a large turnout for the Anzac Day service. The ceremony opened strongly with an excellent address by RSL President John Hughes, followed by a deeply moving and heartfelt story from Mark Howard. His delivery was so powerful that it felt as though we were right there witnessing the events unfold. A huge thank you once again to Eva Nicoloudis for her beautiful rendition of both the Australian and New Zealand national anthems, and to her brother Leo for his performance of the Last Post on the bugle. Thank you also to all those who laid wreaths, and to the wonderful Eildon community for coming together to honour our fallen in such a respectful and meaningful way.

WOW... what an incredible journey we've been on! 🤩

On behalf of the entire team at Soldier On, I wanted to say THANK YOU for joining the March On community.

Thanks to our community, our veterans and their families know they are never alone – we stand strong with them. 💪

Together, we have walked more than 800,000km and raised a record-breaking $3,150,000 (and still counting!) to fund life-saving mental health programs and services to help prevent veteran su***de and save lives. 🎉🎉🎉

We've been truly overwhelmed by the generosity, commitment and support from this one of a kind community.

Moira, I'll be in touch again in a couple of weeks to announce the final fundraising figure.

In the meantime, your fundraising page will remain open until the end of April if you’d like collect any donations, or if you'd like to log any kilometres for your challenge.

Once again, THANK YOU for being part of March On. Together, we are stronger.

March On, a Soldier On fund-raiser to support veteran mental health. Did you know right now, su***de is the leading cause of death for veterans, at 42% for ex-serving males under 30 years old. Ex-serving females are also 107% more likely to die by su***de than non-serving Australian women.

If you would like to support this worthwhile cause, donations can be made to Soldier On or money can be given to Eildon RSL Treasurer Sue McLaurin and we will forward on.
