🚨 THIS SATURDAY 🚨

Come down and support the VRA Rescue NSW Dubbo’s Heavy Rescue Project at Autobarn Dubbo from 10:00am to 3:00pm!

We’ll be running a sausage sizzle alongside a raffle to help raise funds for specialised Heavy Rescue equipment that will directly support our local volunteers and community during serious rescue incidents.

Aircraft Incident

Dubbo Rescue Squad - VRA Rescue NSW responded to an Aircraft Incident alongside other agencies.

Thankfully the plan landed without issue, and members returned to normal duties.

Road Crash Rescue

Dubbo Rescue Squad - VRA Rescue NSW was activated alongside NSW Police, Fire & Rescue NSW and NSW Ambulance at 11:44 last night to reports of a Car into a house.

Thankfully on arrival all persons had self extricated. Crews remained on scene throughout a protracted incident to structurally secure the property for the occupants.

ROAR CRASH RESCUE TRAINING

Tonight our crew, joined by our 5 newly qualified GLR Opeartors in a full multiple casualty motor vehicle accident mock scenario.

Three patients inside all with varying degrees of complexity.
One patient requiring urgent extrication, completed within 3 minutes of “Patient needs out now” with an impalement and another trapped by confinement.

The team worked well together splitting into two teams and extricating all patients safely within 24 minutes.

Such an amazing reason for all of us to get together as one!

Today, emergency services from across the region came together for a special lights and sirens convoy to support a brave young child battling cancer.

An incredible show of community, strength, and support, reminding one family that they are never fighting alone.
