Snow fun at Blue Cow! We caught the Ski Tube from Perisher to Blue Cow, and had a ball playing in the snow. We all threw, caught, and were hit by snow balls. It was quite a warm day, so we were able to slide down the hill. Or in some cases, tripped or slipped and fell! Then we went back to Jindabyne for showers and dinner. The cubs ran around outside and warmed up by the campfire. Another early start today for some more snow time.

We stopped in Canberra while travelling to Jindabyne. We visited Parliament House, and decided to have lunch in a park near the lake with the big water fountain in the middle of it. As we were getting things out of the boot, Akela spotted something on the ground. Initially she thought it was a rat, but it was actually a baby possum. Our cubs spotted Mumma possum in the tree. We put the tiny fur- less baby into a face washer and warm beanie, and Wires told us to leave him on the ground in case his Mumma saw him and came down to get him. We went to the park, but the fountain had stopped working. Then we had lunch and went back to find him still on the ground. There was a local technician there when we arrived, also checking on our little friend. We rang Wires back, and dropped him into them at Fyshwick. Our Cubs named him Chubby Joey, and one of the ladies was taking him home to care for him.
