Canberra Deakin Football Club Club membership is open to anyone that has an interest in any Holden model, whether their vehicles are original daily drivers, restored show cars, modified street machines or modern classics. We meet Monthly at the

Canberra Deakin Football Club, 3 Gross Street Deakin ACT. Or just come for the meeting. This occurs on the 2nd Thursday of every month (excl. Jan)
The club also offers Remote Membership for an annual $10 for those Holden owners that live outside the Canberra region. Remote Members receive electronic copies of “Pist’n’Broke” our monthly magazine

What a story
169 of these HQ Holdens were built for the '74 Commonwealth Games in ChCh. Then they were sold and snapped up. I think they were white, 253 V8 autos with "Rostyle" style wheels and the red and blue stripes. Probably very good cars. Do any still exist.

Happening this Sunday all 😎 come enjoy a wonderful morning in the nations capital with plenty of food and drinks on site, lots of fantastic raffle prizes, there will be stalls on site too. Spectator entry is a gold coin donation going to Huntingtons disease Australia ❤️ car entry is $25 which gives you a goodie bag with a drink and food voucher for the day. Trophy presentations will commence after lunch time trophy 🏆 For those coming from interstate for the weekend please don’t forget to visit some of the capitals attractions such as the war memorial, questacon, the national library, arboretum and dinosaur museum just to mention a few. The weather forecast is looking great 😎 so I hope to see you all there.
