Darwin Surf Life Saving Club (DSLSC) is a community based organisation.

The DSLSC conducts its activities under the guidelines of the national body, Surf Life saving Australia. The club had it's beginnings in the late 1970's and continues to provide voluntary community service through the continual fostering of youth into it's ranks, qualifying new adult members and accepting transferring members from Surf Life Saving clubs around Australia. Volunteer members of the DSLSC patrol Casuarina and Nightcliff beaches every weekend during the dry season, from May to October, tasked with the prevention of loss of life or injury through education, accident prevention and rescue if necessary.
