The Country Women's Association of Victoria Inc - Cowes Branch The Country Women's Association (CWA) is part of a worldwide network of city and rural women. CWA cookbooks and linen tea towels are also available.

The Cowes Group supports many local community groups and families, including study scholarships, craft in schools, and essential services. We are part of the Bass Group and together we hold an annual Craft Exhibition. There is a CWA shop in the main street of Cowes that has a selection of hand made products made by its members, such as preserves, knits and sewn crafts. The shop is run entirely by

volunteers and as a result, shop opening hours are subject to volunteer availability. Cowes group members meet at 1pm on the first Thursday of every month ( except Dec and Jan). New members and visitors are welcome. Please contact us if you would like to come to our meeting.

This year proceeds will go to our Thanksgiving Fund..the Leila Rose Foundation...supporting families with children with rare cancers.
