A BIG congratulations to Orly, a wonderful young collector, who purchased his very first artwork at our ASPIR Melbourne Cup Weekend Exhibition! 🎨❤️

What a fantastic way to start an art collection with this beautiful work, Beachside Track by Phillip Ross. We absolutely love seeing young people developing an interest in art and supporting our local artists. Who knows where this first purchase might lead and we hope you enjoy your very special first artwork for many years to come! 👏

It’s that time again! 🎨 The ASPIR Art Exhibition & Junior Art Award – Cup Weekend 2026 is just around the corner! Join us at Berninneit in Cowes for a wonderful showcase of original artworks by ASPIR members, celebrating the incredible talent and creativity of our local artists. With a diverse range of styles, mediums and subjects, there’s something for every art lover to enjoy — and what better way to spend Cup Weekend than discovering and supporting original local art. 🖌️✨

Opening Night: Friday 30 October, 7pm
Exhibition: Friday 30 October – Monday 2 November, 10am–4pm
Tuesday 3 November: 10am–1pm

Who doesn’t love a Christmas in July celebration? 🎄✨

There was plenty of laughter, delicious food and festive cheer as our wonderful member volunteers came together for a well-earned catch-up after all their hard work throughout the year. A highlight of the day was Gay’s secret mulled w**e recipe, which was an instant hit and the perfect way to warm up on a chilly winter’s afternoon. Thanks to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a special gathering. ❤️

What a huge success the recent 2 day Floral Workshop with renowned watercolor artist Julie Goldspink was. So much was learned and so much fun was had. Take a look at the some of the gorgeous works produced. We are all so looking forward to Julies weekly course work which is starting this week on aspects and buildings.
