We’re very excited to welcome you all to another season of longboarding. Let’s all pray to the surf gods that we will get some great conditions.

Start waxing your gliders because this season we’re introducing a glider division which we’re super keen about giving it a go!

AGG-1 DONE. A huge thanks to RITUAL VISION for putting up the prizes for Agg 1! All our division winners are now rocking a sick pair of core lord sunnies. Make sure you get down and support our local surf shops!

Massive thanks to everyone who came down and helped set, pack up and judge their heats. We really appreciate everyone pitching in, including those who entered late and helped make the day a ripping success!

The new format worked a treat, with everyone getting to surf twice, meaning more time in the water and more waves for everyone. It was also awesome to see B Grade and Aussie Mongrels back in action! A call out for next comp these are open to all if you wanna surf twice.

A special congratulations to Eddie Maier, who celebrated his birthday in style with two wins, taking out the Cadets and Aussie Mongrels! 🎂🏆Not a bad way to spend your birthday and great tube cake Sal.

And a big shout-out to Walter Hiatt, who also pulled off the double, winning both A Grade and Senior Men’s! Two massive performances and a bigger effort organizing the day. Thanks legend.
We’ve still got 4 aggregates left this season, so spread the word, get your mates involved and let’s keep it going.

Entries close Thursday 8th at 8pm. No late entries. No exceptions, so don’t leave it to the last minute.

Quick heads up on timing, Event 1 is pencilled in for Saturday 10th but the forecast’s a bit average that day. We’re watching it and might shift to our Sunday backup if it looks better. We’ll let you know closer to the day.

TERM FOUR PIBC YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM IS ABOUT TO KICK OFF!!

This program is aimed at 10-13 year old PIBC Groms with current membership. Level up with on beach coaching, video & analysis, equipment review, competition practice, ocean safety & surfing etiquette.

$210 for 6 weeks of professional coaching in the Archy Surf Academy. We aim to join similar level surfers together. Additional coaching sessions with ARCHYSURF offered at discount rates.

Dates: Weekly on Sunday afternoons, from 3pm - 4:30pm

6 sessions starting October 11 2026!!

Parents are encouraged to join the participant in the water if it will aid in their confidence.

Essential new info for this season!
Once registered, all participants must get their name ticked off & collect their Supergroms rashie (which will be used for the whole season) from the Clubhouse shed prior to the first session at these times only!
8th Oct: 4:30-5:30pm
9th Oct: 3:45-4:45pm

Any new families can get general info about the program during rashie collection.

🏄🏼 Board and/or wetsuit hire also available

No beach/carpark checkin’s.
Compulsory Rashie hire for the season $40 deposit (included in cost).

Congratulations to Lennox Archibald for being selected in the Nationals this year for U14s. Lennox is also the youngest surfer in the state team which is a huge effort. Good luck at the comp and send it legend, we will all be cheering for you.
