Darwin Surf Life Saving Club

Darwin Surf Life Saving Club Darwin Surf Life Saving Club (DSLSC) is a community based organisation.

The DSLSC conducts its activities under the guidelines of the national body, Surf Life saving Australia. The club had it's beginnings in the late 1970's and continues to provide voluntary community service through the continual fostering of youth into it's ranks, qualifying new adult members and accepting transferring members from Surf Life Saving clubs around Australia. Volunteer members of the D

SLSC patrol Casuarina and Nightcliff beaches every weekend during the dry season, from May to October, tasked with the prevention of loss of life or injury through education, accident prevention and rescue if necessary.

It was great to be out at the Darwin Surf Life Saving Club, lending a hand on the bbq and supporting the fantastic Nippers program. 🌊👦👧

This program gives our young people the chance to build water safety skills, teamwork, and confidence — all while having fun and staying active.

A big thank you to all the volunteers and families who make it possible week after week. Your dedication keeps our beaches safe and our kids thriving. 🙌
