Operation Sunshine WA Supporting women, children, young people, & families impacted by violence & abuse or crisis in WA. We make children happy when their skies are grey.

Operation Sunshine WA offer goods and services to children in state care to provide a positive impact in their lives. We work alongside the Department for Child Protection and Family Support and foster care organisations to run different programs to brighten and enrich the lives of children in care. It was wonderful to be able to celebrate this achievement with you and reflect on the impact your organisation has made in the lives of so many.

Our HQ Heroes help cover our monthly overheads, keeping our headquarters running and our doors open. This space is vital to everything we do at Operation Sunshine. It’s where volunteers come together to pack our Sunshine Packs, supporting West Australians through crisis and hardship.

We’re looking for four more volunteers to help out at the Belmont Rotary Market this Sunday from 6:45-10:30am. ☀️

You’ll be representing Operation Sunshine at the entry points, collecting gold coin donations and helping make a real difference.

It’s the perfect chance to catch up with a friend so bring someone along and volunteer side by side.

With it being Mother’s Day, it could also be a fun and meaningful way to spend the morning with mum. 💝
