Our recent OWLKEYME beginner hip hop video has reached over 100,000 views on Instagram, with more than 12,000 likes and thousands of shares.
The numbers are exciting, but what interests us most is why people engaged with it.
Perhaps it was simply the right content at the right time.
Or perhaps it highlighted something many people are feeling right now.
We spend much of our lives responding to notifications, emails, messages, deadlines and demands on our attention. The video jokingly suggested that when the world becomes too loud, maybe the best option is to ignore it all for an hour and go dancing.
The response suggests that message resonated.
