Fearless Connections is coming this September!

Come solo. Leave Connected.

Introducing Fearless Connections, a four-part social series for young women aged 18–25 in Canberra. Across four unique experiences, participants will make, play, move, and give together, with each event designed to offer a different way to meet people and build connection.

Each event is built around a shared activity, so there is always something to do, something to talk about and a reason to connect.

Our first event will be Make: Candle Making on Monday, 28 September 2026.

In this relaxed workshop, you’ll create your own candle, choose a scent blend and spend time with other young women in a space designed for showing up solo and making new connections.

Last financial year, Fearless Women’s Education team connected with more than 6,600 girls and young women across 158 sessions.

These sessions are a powerful reminder of how deeply our programs are needed in the Canberra Region and how much can change for girls and young women when they have the space to build confidence, connection, resilience and self-belief.

We have started the 2026–27 year with a vibrant session for the young women at GG’s Flowers, Canberra’s socially sustainable florist.

Their team brings creativity and heart to their work, and it was inspiring to spend time with young women who are building skills, confidence and social impact.

Some of the reflections shared after the session included:

“I’m going to work on being more positive and working hard.”

“Before today, I did not know I had that much confidence.”

“Before today, I did not know the importance of community in building resilience.”

Thank you to GG’s Flowers for welcoming us.
