MARAMING, MARAMING SALAMAT PO! 🇵🇭❤️🎉

What a successful Fiesta ng Bayan 2026 – Buwan ng Wika / Filipino Language Month celebration!

We asked a lot of people about the event and we are so happy to hear that everyone enjoyed it! It was truly family-friendly, full of tawanan, kwentuhan, and that warm Filipino feeling.

Yes, there were a few hiccups and funny moments along the way (that's what makes a real fiesta, di ba? 😂), but it was never dull at all!

People truly enjoyed the camaraderie, the games, the food, and most of all, the CHILDREN– seeing them enjoy the pabitin and all the palaro was the highlight of our day. That’s why we do what we do – para sa kanila at para sa ating wika at kultura.

Please watch and read the SBS feature about us – nakakatuwang maibahagi ang ating kwento sa buong Australia!

And here’s a plethora of photos from yesterday – feel free to tag, share, and relive the fiesta! 📸👇

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU ALL FOR COMING! To our students, parents, volunteers, performers, sponsors, and guests – you made this fiesta possible.

If you have any suggestions for next year, please do come up and talk to us or message us. We are always listening and we want to make next year even better!

Hanggang sa susunod na Fiesta!

With love and gratitude,
Filipino Language School of Canberra (FLSC) Family
