In just one month, the heart of Canberra will come alive for the 2026 National Multicultural Festival.

For one weekend, our streets become a shared space – filled with music, food, stories, laughter, and the many cultures that make our city home.

Across 17 stages and venues, you’ll find world-class performances, hands-on workshops, family and kids’ experiences, quiet sanctuaries, and flavours from around the globe – all designed to be explored at your own pace, together.

Whether you come with friends, bring the kids, meet neighbours, or discover something new, this is a celebration of who we are.
