We meet on 2nd and 4th Tuesday's of each Month - generally at 6pm for 6.30pm start - Currently we meet at the Benson restaurant or contact us for details.

🍳💙 Thank You Cairns RSL Club!💙🍳

The Rotary Club of Cairns West sincerely thanks the Cairns RSL Hospitality Hearts Program for its incredibly generous $10,000 donation to support our Breakfast Club at the Manoora Neighbourhood Centre.

This funding will go directly towards providing nutritious breakfasts and school lunches throughout Term 1 of 2027.

Our Breakfast Club continues to grow and expand, supporting children from over 10 local schools every school morning. The program gives children access to nutritious food, positive connections and a welcoming place to begin the day before heading to school.

This generous contribution will help children arrive at school with a full stomach and a greater ability to concentrate, participate and learn.

The support of the Cairns RSL Hospitality Hearts Program is greatly appreciated and will make a real and immediate difference to local children and families.

Congratulations to our Club member Dr Ashim Sinha for your marvellous dedication and recognition.

Huge congratulations to Cairns Hospital endocrinologist Dr Ashim Sinha on receiving the Australian Diabetes Society’s Lifetime Achievement Award!

For more than 20 years he’s transformed diabetes care across Far North Queensland, building the Cairns Diabetes Centre into the only non-metropolitan Centre of Excellence in the country.

‘My philosophy was to provide the best of diabetes care, and no one should be disadvantaged by where they live," he said.
