Thank you all for participating in Jetty Toastmaster's 20th Anniversary. It was great to see many experienced members from the district present their speeches on the benefits, stories and journeys of Toastmasters success. Some joined to prepare for wedding speeches, excel their corporate or political careers and others to build confidence and mentor others. Truly an inspiring night and we welcome anyone to join as a guest on our regular Monday meetings.

Tonight's agenda will feature the table topics. Taking on this role improves confidence and impromptu speaking skills.

Members will develop their ability to organize their thoughts quickly and respond to an impromptu question or topic.

For many Toastmasters, nothing strikes fear into the heart quite like the Table Topics® part of a meeting. You know it’s important to learn spontaneous speaking, but it’s intimidating, and there’s no way to prepare. Or is there?

Yee-Haw, what a Hootin' darn good time! Our toast master for the night mixed things up and embodied the Texas American 🤠🐓🌶.

Once a member, you will have the opportunity to learn many roles, the toast master is essentially the master of ceremonies (MC) and they will welcome y'all (apologies, that American accent is catchy), introduce the next speaker and thank the previous speaker.

Feel free to come as a guest at our next meeting on the 20th of April.
