Next volunteers info session:
Friday 3 July (1pm - 3pm)
Saturday 11 July (11am - 13pm)
We are looking for more people to join our team of volunteers who are making a better, more sustainable world, right now!
We need more change-makers to join us ahead of some exciting changes. You don’t need to be a tool-skilled person. Volunteers are involved in serving members, marketing and website maintenance, operating our tool library software, maintaining and repairing tools, managing shifts, organising workshops, events and much more...
The Brisbane Tool Library has been created in 2017, and since it has been powered by the amazing work and generosity of volunteers. The Brisbane Tool Library team shares a passion for a more sustainable world and for resilient communities. Some of us know a lot about tools and some of us know nothing at all. Some of us are experienced do-it-yourselfers and love repairing and some of us just wish we could. Some of us are handy with the computer, others not so much. We have volunteer roles for people with lots of skills, or want to learn new skills, or are just looking for something fairly easy to do in line with their values. There is a great sense of camaraderie and a real sense of satisfaction because you are part of the solution.
Want to know more? Not quite ready to commit? Come along to our volunteers info session day!
Our team will be available to meet you and respond to any question in this time slot. We will give you a tour of the tool library, answer any of your questions, and work out what volunteer roles might best suit you.
Pop in and, please, EMAIL US if you intend to come, letting us know at what time. Email: [email protected]
If you can’t make it on the day, but you’re still interested in volunteering, email us anyway and we will try to arrange another time for you! [email protected]
We can’t wait to see you!
