Time is running out with ticket sales closing this Thursday for our annual quiz night!

Join us for famous Brighton Jetty Sculptures Quiz Night, there will be monster raffles, a silent auction and plenty of fun to be had. This year's theme is Loud Shirts gather your friends, plan your out fits and get ready for a good night out together at the BSLSC.

Date: Saturday 30th May
Time: Come for dinner before 5pm -7pm at the bistro CARO Club, event starts 7.30pm

Tickets are available via the link below.

Food will be available from our new bistro - CAROclub between 5pm -7pm before we start the proceedings, so why not join us for a bite to eat before we get started for what is sure to be a fun night.

We have another State Champion! Congratulations to Callum Cornish on being awarded the Surf Life Saving SA Boys u12 State Champion award over the weekend. Callum's outstanding states results included Gold in Sprints & Flags and Silver in the distance run.

We are certainly excited to see what the future holds for Callum with his final year of nippers coming up this season!

Over the weekend a small team of BSLSC surfers competes in the Surf Life Saving SA State Board Riding Champs.

Outstanding results include:

Ali Baird 55 longboard 1st🥇
Terry Williams 55 longboard 2nd🥈
Livi Meehan U15 short board 3rd 🥉

Well done also to Isabel McMillan on 4th place in the final of the u15 short board and Nelson Meehan who made it to the semi final of the u19 short board amongst tough competition.

With a team of just 5 competitors Brighton still manged a very respectable 5th overall!

More congratulations are in order, this time for our amazing, prolific official, Richard Crowe! Richard is a finalist for the Official of the Year at this year's SLSSA Awards of Excellence.

Richard volunteers his time tirelessly at just about every surf sports event every season. In fact, this year he was recognised for 20 years of officiating at the Australian Surf Lifesaving Champs.

Well done Richard, the BSLSC community is very lucky to have you on our team.

The youth finalists for this year's SLSSA Awards of Excellence have been announced and a huge congratulations must go to two of Brighton's own.

Congratulations to Jacob Newrick, a finalist in the Youth Surf Lifesaver of the Year category, and to Taj Bunting, announced as a finalist for Youth Athlete of the Year.

Both of these young members have had an outstanding season and a bright future ahead, we wish them all the best for the up coming awards night.

There is alot to celebrate tonight with our Channel 7 Brighton Jetty Classic team taking out the the Community Impact Award at this year's South Australian Sports Awards! Congratulations must also go to Isla Church and Erin Harrington for winning the Youth Team Spirit Award, for their outstanding success in R&R!

We'd also like to congratulate Ted Clark who was a finalist for the Master's Athlete of the year and Grace Norman, a finalist in the Youth Athlete of the Year category.

We are so proud of the success of these amazing BSLSC community members. Well done all!
