This year BSLSC is excited to be taking on the Gotcha4life 24 hour row on September 12th -13th to help build a mentally fit future for all Australians. By raising vital funds, we'll be helping Gotcha4Life deliver life-changing programs that equips people with the skills to get through life’s ups and downs, so no one ever worries alone.

From 7am AEST tomorrow, 3 September, every donation made to the Gotcha4Life 24 Hour Row will be DOUBLED, thanks to the generosity of Shaw and Partners Financial Services.

A huge congratulations to Craig Van Tenac and Ingrid Cobiac who received service recognition awards on Saturday at the State Education conference.

Craig received his award for 15 years of training service to the state, and Ingrid received hers for 15 years assessing service to the state.

Brighton is incredibly lucky to have such dedicated members as part of our community, well done to them both!

Tomorrow a small team of our red caps will be hitting the water for this year's Australian Pool Rescue Champs. We wish them lot's of luck and a great weekend.

We must also congratulate Laura Bastiaans and Charlie Burns on their inclusion in the South Australian Pool Rescue team! They will be taking on the best in the country tomorrow afternoon.

It's going to be a great weekend!

Due to unforeseen circumstances Caro Club will not be serving tonight at BSLSC, but rest assured they'll be back next week with all your favourites. The club is still open for you to come enjoy a beverage and the atmosphere!

Today was the last day of IRB Aussies and our Brighton Masters went out with a bang, making it through to not one but TWO Australian Finals! Well done all!

Congratulations to all who competed and supported over the last few days, we hope you enjoy the celebrations.

Our Brighton IRB Crew are currently in South West Rocks NSW competing in the 2026 Australian IRB Champs.

After a big day yesterday for many of our team competing for SA at Interstates, today our under 23 teams hit the water for some incredible racing with both male and female teams making it to semi finals!

We can't wait to hear more from our red capped IRB Crew.
