MOPS Marion supports mothers of pre-school children (from pregnancy through to 5 years of age). We meet fortnightly at Marion Church of Christ on a Monday morning (9:30-11:30am) on the even weeks of the school terms. At the core of our group is the principle that “Bette
r Mums make a Better World” and our focus is on providing a consistent space of support, encouragement, insight and love for mothers of all walks of life. Children can be cared for by a loving group of accredited volunteer MOPS Kids carers while Mums relax and enjoy a morning of connecting together over tea & coffee, morning tea, group discussions and craft and wonderful support from our Mentor Mums. What is MUMSnext? MUMSnext is the continuation of MOPS for Mums who no longer have pre-school aged children or predominantly have school-aged children. Aligned with MOPS Marion, MUMSnext also has the underpinning principle that “Better Mums make a Better World”. As our children grow it doesn’t get easier, but it does change. MUMSnext recognises this change and offers continued support, encouragement and connection for Mums through all stages of motherhood. MUMSnext meets on the alternate fortnight to MOPS at Marion Church of Christ on Monday mornings (9-11am). MUMSnext is a casual BYO arrangement for Coffee & Tea. When operating, drinks can also be purchased from Side-Gate Cafe on site from 10am. It is important to note that there is no creche or child supervision provided at MUMSnext, however we welcome parents with a pre-schooler to also attend with play facilities available under parent supervision.
