🦁 Last night our club celebrated another year of Service. We thanked outgoing board members and welcomed some new faces to the board for 2025/26.

We were joined by a few special guests and thank Craig Murphy for stepping in and presenting the Presidents report on behalf of his dad Bruce.

We bid farewell to Max Woolley who has decided to stand down from Lions after 21 fantastic years of service for the local community.

We welcomed 4 new members to the club and can't wait to put them to work at upcoming events. Congratulations to Amanda, Teresa, Vincent and Shannon for taking the leap to join the world's largest service organisation.

Appreciation post - thanks to everyone who baked and contributed to the BBQ + Bake Sale. Your effort was very much appreciated. 🙏👏

To the customers we thank you very much , especially the regulars who keep coming back we take that as a very big compliment.
We raised approx $1300. All of which contributes to community projects.

Can you help?

Are you able to collect stamps at home or in your workplace? If yes, Bomaderry Nowra Lions Club would love to connect with you.

How does this help?

In one year the Richmond Lions club and the stamp club donated $57,000 to the Children’s Mobility Foundation.
Every stamp that is donated, is sold and every cent raised is then donated to the Australian Lions children’s mobility foundation, to assist purchase of walking frames for children born with Cerebral Palsy. Since the project commenced 20 years ago, Lions have raised and handed over more than $460,000 to the foundation with many thanks to all the generous supporters of Lions who have collected stamps.

The Australian Chapter is always seeking new and used postage stamps, philatelic material AND unwanted collections which are sorted and sold at auction with all proceeds donated to the Australian Lions Childrens Mobility Foundation. Please clip around the used stamps, leaving no less than 1/8″ and no more than 1/4″ around the stamp and send them to:
