On the Wilderness Coast, Bermagui River, NSW In December & January we are open for Airbnb. Our mission is youth leadership for sustainable design. We use Landcare and Permaculture design to achieve this. Our sustainable bush camp on t

idal river near Bermagui has a unique permaculture design. The camp is at the gateway to 'The Wilderness Coast' of South East New South Wales in Australia and features: A train carriage bunkhouse for 28 students in 4 rooms plus 4 teacher rooms. A commercial kitchen in community hall Conservation and Landcare project areas Group arrival by bushwalk and departure by bushwalk or canoe -depending on available time on the last day We also have vehicle access
Sustainable design features include:
- solar lights and heating
- rainwater conservation and greywater reuse
- food gardens and orchards,
- fire retardant shelterbelts
- rainforest gully refuges
- river landcare corridor project of 25000 trees linking coastal national parks with a focus on koala habitat.
