Thank you to all our artists, donors, sponsors, our wonderful volunteers, without whom it wouldn't happen, but most of all to the people who supported our Sculpture Bermagui event this year by coming to our beautiful village to enjoy what we have to offer. We're gearing up for a big weekend! The weather is looking great. Come and check out the amazing sculptures on site. Many still for sale in the Surf Club, at Shop 7 at the Marina and on the Headland and Country Club. Taiko Drummers and Fling theatre will perform in the park opposite the pub at 12:00pm on Sunday - lots of fun for all!
Don't forget to vote for your favourite indoor and outdoor sculpture for the People's Choice awards to be announced following the Sunday close at 2pm. Just take a photo or scan the barcode on your favourite piece and fill out your details that come up. Hope to see you there!

Its a lovely day in Bermagui. We still have plenty to see and do for the exhibition until Sunday 15 March. Here's a peek at just some of the amazing works on display - there are plenty more amazing works including at the Surf Club, Shop 7 at the Marina and the Headland. Take a stroll and enjoy our beautiful village.

AND THE WINNER IS! DAVID JENSZ
CONGRATULATIONS go to David Jensz on winning the $25,000 Sculpture Bermagui first prize for his work “Mantle”. Judge Terrence Maloon spoke of being compelled by the works produced by David and the creative vision behind them that imagines a new life appearing on earth after the Anthropocene that is witnessed by the ancient river stone.

Bump in today outside from the Surf Club up through to the Headland...A big thanks to all the helpers including volunteers and the Marine Rescue team...lucky to have such wonderful assistance. Mark and Rowan with the crane and even Dusty the dog chipped in....Overseeing all this the wonderful Victoria Nelson, our outside curator...congratulations to all the team!....can't wait for the announcement of prize winners and the opening on Saturday at 10:00am - up the hill at the Campbells Camp for the welcome to country....see you there!
