HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR LOCAL CLUBS!

We are thrilled to announce that Marine Rescue Bermagui has received a significant grant for vital first aid training equipment and training room upgrades!

The funding was officially presented at the recent Club Grants Awards hosted at Club Sapphire Merimbula.

This incredible support comes from the Bermagui Country Club, Merimbula RSL Club, and Merimbula-Imlay Bowling Club Ltd.

These upgrades ensure our volunteer crew stays highly trained and ready to save lives at sea.

Is it bragging if it's just another day at the office?
Our crew were joined by incredible wildlife out on the water during the weekly training!

Our line up included:
- Albatross gliding past
- Whales breaching
- Tuna busting the surface
- Dolphins riding the bow wave

We truly live in the best place on earth. If you are heading out make sure your camera is charged and your Marine Rescue App is turned on!

Training in progress at Marine Rescue Bermagui.

Trainee Mirabai took the helm during the weekly training session, working on ship-handling skills with support from crew member Caron and other crew members.

Routine training runs like this are a key part of building confidence and teamwork among our crew, ensuring everyone feels prepared and supported on the water.
