What an amazing turnout for Night 1 — it was fantastic seeing the track full again with so many athletes and families. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A huge thank you to our Age Managers, parent helpers, volunteers and committee who helped make such a busy first night possible.

📣 REGISTRATION COLLECTION – TOMORROW! 💙🩷

A reminder that registration collection will be available tomorrow from 4:30pm–5:30pm before our first night of competition!

We still have a large number of athletes who need to collect their registration numbers and packs, so we’re expecting it to be very busy.

⏰ Please give yourself plenty of time and arrive as early as you can, as there may be some longer lines.

If you’re a new athlete, remember that ID sighting must be completed before your registration pack can be collected.

Our committee will be working as quickly as possible to get everyone sorted and ready for Night 1. We really appreciate your patience and understanding.

Then it’s time for what we’ve all been waiting for…

The wait is almost over — Season 2026/27 starts THIS FRIDAY NIGHT! 💙🩷

We’re kicking things off with WEEK 1 – A PROGRAM. Please check the attached program so you know what events your age group will be doing.

⏰ Marshalling from 5:00pm for a 5:30pm start
💧 Bring plenty of water
👟 Come ready to run, jump, throw and have some fun!

With 400+ athletes joining us this season, it’s going to be an incredible atmosphere at The Ridge. We can’t wait to see all our returning athletes and welcome so many new Illawong families for their first night!

🚨 REGISTRATION UPDATE – WHAT AN INCREDIBLE RESPONSE! 💙🩷

What a huge year it has been for registrations at Illawong Little Athletics! Thank you to everyone who has registered and helped make the 2026/27 season one of our biggest yet!

Due to the amazing response, the following age groups are now CLOSED:

🔒 Tiny Tots
🔒 U7
🔒 U11
🔒 U12

And we’re getting VERY close to capacity in:

⏳ U6
⏳ U9
⏳ U13–17

If you’ve been thinking about joining us this season, don’t leave it too late! Once these remaining places are filled, registrations for those age groups will also close.

A reminder that our Registration Collection Day is happening tomorrow!

📅 Sunday 30th August 2026
📍 The Ridge Athletics Track
⏰ 4:00pm – 5:30pm

Come down and get everything sorted ahead of the start of our 2026/27 season!

You’ll be able to:
🏃 Collect your registration bib and age patch
👕 Purchase your Illawong uniform
🪪 Complete ID sighting for new athletes

IMPORTANT: If you are a new athlete, please make sure you bring valid proof of age/ID, such as a passport or birth certificate.

⚠️ Only athletes who were registered before Friday this week will have their registration pack ready for collection.

With 400+ athletes joining us this season, it’s going to be a massive year at Illawong! 🙌

WOW! What an achievement for Illawong Little Athletics — we have officially reached 400 registered athletes for the 2026/27 season! 💙🩷

A massive thank you to all our returning families and a huge welcome to everyone joining Illawong for the first time. It’s shaping up to be an incredible season!

With the season almost here, please see the attached information showing how and where to attach your athlete’s age group patch and registration number to their Illawong singlet or crop top.

Please make sure these are attached correctly (not covering the Illawong name / logo) before our first competition night so everyone is ready to go! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
