A Historic Milestone for Persinas ASAD in Australia 🇮🇩🇦🇺
On 21 August 2026, the Central Executive Board of Persinas ASAD officially signed Cooperation Agreements with eight AIDA organisations across Australia: AIDA Victoria, AIDA INC (New South Wales), AIDA Northern Territory, AIDA Far North Queensland (Cairns), AIDQ (Queensland), AIDSA (South Australia), AIDWA (Western Australia), and AIDA Tasmania.
Held at the AIDA Victoria Mosque in Melbourne, this agreement provides an official foundation for AIDA organisations to conduct Persinas ASAD activities, teach its techniques and movements, share knowledge, nurture the next generation, and preserve Indonesian pencak silat culture throughout Australia.
The evening was hosted by renowned Indonesian presenter Ben Kasyafani. Guests also enjoyed a special Kuntao demonstration performed by Mas Heri’s team alongside representatives from PB Persinas ASAD.
The event featured remarks from AIDA Victoria; Mr Dikmas Sulistio, representing the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Melbourne; APSF President Mr Les Irawan; and PB Persinas ASAD representative Ridhan Nandari.
Representatives from each AIDA state organisation signed the agreement in turn, witnessed and accompanied by the ASAD Advisory Board, PB Persinas ASAD, the Australian Pencak Silat Federation, and the Indonesian Consulate General in Melbourne.
The evening concluded with the presentation of commemorative gifts, a group photo, fellowship, and dinner together.
May this collaboration mark the beginning of a stronger, more organised, and sustainable future for Persinas ASAD across Australia.
