Attard in 1992 with the slogan "Keep Active and Live Longer" and was affiliated with the MCCV in 2003. The Association is also involved in promoting Malta in any way possible at all levels of government. In 2009 it had 856 financial members and another 300 persons who from time to time participated in their activity
