Sometimes the things we do put a great big grin on your face. The laughing, and shouts of joy from the Dromana Sea Scout Cubs made us really happy tonight when we presented them with their repaired original Carts plus two new Carts.

9 years ago today (13 November 2016) the start of the building of the new Safety Beach-Dromana Men’s Shed.

25/09/2025

🚧 All southbound lanes of Peninsula Link, towards Rosebud, will close between Bungower Road and the Moorooduc Highway from 10pm Sunday, 28 September to 5am Wednesday, 29 October, as major works continue.

🚗 If you're heading down the peninsula traffic management will direct you to exit at Bungower Road, Moorooduc and then travel south on the Moorooduc Highway to return to Peninsula Link at Tuerong.

🚛 Driving a heavy vehicle? You'll take an earlier exit at Frankston-Flinders Road to reach the Moorooduc Highway and Peninsula Link.

🕑 Delays of up to 25 minutes are expected for those detouring and for traffic on surrounding roads.

🚌 Buses on Route 887 between Frankston and Rosebud will detour around the freeway closure using the Moorooduc Highway, resulting in longer journey times.

Peninsula Link is a 27-kilometre toll-free freeway connecting Carrum Downs to Mount Martha, designed to ease congestion and improve connectivity across Melbourne's southeast and the Mornington Peninsula.
