The fourth term of 2026 Intern rotations have started 🩺

Our Term 4 Road to Rural (R2R) Interns are heading off to start their rural placements for ten weeks to experience what life is like for Rural Generalists.

The R2R Intern rotations provide junior doctors with a unique opportunity to experience rural medicine in general practice and the local hospital, and a chance for the interns to connect with the local community. More than just another rotation, the R2R Intern program is an immersion into real life rural medicine.

All the best for a great rural experience!

📣 EOIs Open - RDWA expanding SAVES Panel

The South Australian Virtual Emergency Service (SAVES) provides overnight emergency medical support to rural hospitals in South Australia, delivered by a panel of highly skilled rural GP/RGs experienced in rural emergency medicine.

With the support of the Regional Local Health Networks, RDWA is expanding our panel of SAVES doctors.
