Lions across Australia are helping save lives through our Mobile Skin Cancer Check Vans - bringing free, accessible screening to communities that need it most.

Thanks to our incredible volunteers, thousands of Australians are receiving early detection and referrals, especially in rural areas with limited medical access.

Our fantastic team of screeners, along with our driver and administrator continuing our northern screening “adventure” from Darwin to Tennant Creek, Alice Springs and Port Augusta.
They arrive home today for a well deserved rest.

The Lions Medical Research Foundation SA/NT’s skin cancer mobile unit is a community screening service with serious impact and will be here this weekend!

✅ Outside of the Civic Centre
✅ From 9am – 3pm, Saturday and Sunday

Since March 2021 they have screened 17,695 people! They have a high referral rate of 23% to general practitioners for further investigation with the hope that early detection can save lives!
