PL/ENG Nasze Stowarzyszenie „Mazurek” miało ogromną przyjemność wziąć udział w projekcie Erasmus+ Youth „True Colors Vol. 4” – międzynarodowej wymianie młodzieży z Austrii, Polski i Łotwy. 🇦🇹🇵🇱🇱🇻
W projekcie uczestniczyły dwie przedstawicielki naszego stowarzyszenia: mgr Małgorzata Wójcik – skrzypaczka, sekretarzyni oraz Alicja Zell – prezeska i liderka grupy projektowej. Drugą liderką projektu została Mag.a Else Schmidt – prezeska stowarzyszenia Volkstanz Wien, wykładowczyni na Uniwersytecie MDW. Cieszymy się z tak owocnej współpracy! 🎶
To był czas pełen spotkań, rozmów, tańca, radości i przede wszystkim prawdziwej wymiany kulturowej! ❤️
🇦🇹 Z naszej strony zaprosiliśmy do projektu młodzież studencką z Wiednia, a trzon austriackiej grupy stanowił zespół taneczny z Uniwersytetu Technicznego. Młodzi Austriacy z ogromnym zaangażowaniem zaprezentowali swoją kulturę, a jednocześnie z zaangażowaniem poznawali polskie tańce, muzykę i piosenki. 🎶
Co działo się podczas projektu?
💃 wspólne aktywności i nauka tańców,
🌐warsztaty międzynarodowe
👗 wymiana i prezentacja strojów narodowych,
🎶 wspólne śpiewanie w różnych językach,
🏔️ wędrówki po górach,
🗺️ gra miejska w Zakopanem,
🧩 test osobowości i aktywności integracyjne,
🇵🇱 spotkanie z żywą, autentyczną kulturą
🎭 występ zespołu „Orawskie Roztoki” z kierownikiem Eugeniuszem Karkoszką i pokaz oraz warsztaty tradycyjnych tańców orawskich,
…i jeszcze wiele innych wydarzeń!
Szczególnie cenne było to, że mogliśmy promować własną kulturę i folklor, ale jednocześnie z pełną otwartością poznawać inne kultury, tańce i punkty widzenia. To bezcenne doświadczenie - poznać ludzi, osiągnąć coś razem, wystąpić na scenie, zobaczyć folklor nie jako eksponat, ale jako żywą tradycję – jako spotkania ludzi, którzy go tworzą, tańczyć razem z nimi i rozwijać europejskie wartości wspólnoty i współpracy.
Dziękujemy za zaproszenie, wspólny czas, wszystkie rozmowy, tańce, śmiech i nowe znajomości! To było naprawdę wyjątkowe doświadczenie, które zostanie w naszych sercach na długo.

🌍🇦🇹🇵🇱🇱🇻 TRUE COLORS VOL. 4 – three countries, three cultures and countless shared experiences! 💃🕺
Our Mazurek Association had the great pleasure of taking part in the Erasmus+ Youth project “True Colors Vol. 4” – an international youth exchange bringing together young people from Austria, Poland and Latvia. 🇦🇹🇵🇱🇱🇻
Two representatives of our association took part in the project: MA MA Małgorzata Wójcik – viloinist and Secretary of the Mazurek, and Alicja Zell – President of the association and project leader. The second project leader was Else Schmidt – President of Volkstanz Wien, lecturer at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW). We are very happy to cooperate with such talented people!
It was a time filled with new encounters, conversations, dancing, laughter and, above all, a genuine exchange of cultures! ❤️
🇦🇹 From our side, we invited students from Vienna to join the project, with the dance group from TU Wien forming the core of the Austrian team. The young Austrians enthusiastically presented their own culture while also eagerly discovering Polish and Latvian dances, music and songs. 🎶
What did we experience during the project?
💃 joint activities and learning traditional dances,
👗 exchanging and presenting national costumes,
🎶 singing together and discovering languages,
🏔️ hiking in the mountains,
🗺️ a city game in Zakopane,
🧩 personality tests and team-building activities,
🇵🇱 experiencing living and authentic local culture,
🎭 a performance by Gienek Karkoszka and the Orawskie Roztoki folk group featuring traditional dances from the Orawa region,
…and many more unforgettable moments!
What made this experience particularly special was the opportunity to discover folklore not as something preserved behind glass, but as a living tradition – to meet the people who keep it alive, dance with them and experience it ourselves. ❤️
Because that is what a true cultural exchange is all about – not simply talking about your culture, but sharing it, experiencing it and being curious about the cultures of others. 🌍
Thank you for the invitation, the wonderful time together, all the conversations, dances, laughter and new friendships! It was truly a special experience. 🫶
