Highlights from Friday’s staged reading of Sweat by Lynn Nottage, a space charged with truth, tension, and the quiet power of shared humanity.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on the 17th of April at the Friendship Bench Hub. Your presence, your openness, your listening; it held the room in a way that words alone never could.

We are especially grateful to our director, Charlene Mangweni Furusa, for her vision, care, and depth in guiding this work to life.

At Almasi Collaborative Arts, we remain committed to telling stories that matter, stories that challenge, connect, and stay with us long after the final word.

Stay with us… there is more bold, necessary, and transformative work ahead.

2026, we continue. 🎭
