CELEBRATING 6 YEARS OF BRINGING HOPE TO EVERYONE
1 June 2026 ā Bulawayo, Zimbabwe
Today, Ray of Hope (ROH) proudly celebrates six years of dedicated service to our community. Founded on 1 June 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, our organization was born out of a urgent need to support the most vulnerableāthe elderly, orphans, widows, the less privileged, and those silently battling mental health challenges.
Six years of impact.
Over this journey, we have grown from a small group of passionate volunteers to a recognized charity organization reaching hundreds of lives across Zimbabwe. Our pillars of workādonations, mental health campaigns, awareness initiatives, and mentorship programsāhave transformed communities. We have:
Ā· Provided food, clothing, and school supplies to childrenās homes and old peopleās homes, including Entembeni Old Peopleās Home, Khayelihle Childrenās Village, Thembiso Children's Home, Vulindlela Orphans Care, John Smale Children's Home, just to mention but a few.
Ā· Offered free and confidential counselling services through certified peer counsellors, addressing depression, anxiety, and su***de prevention.
Ā· Conducted anti-drug abuse campaigns, mental health awareness sessions, and youth mentorship programs, focusing on disadvantaged girl children and teenage mothers.
Ā· Partnered with organizations such as Shared Hearts, Abangane Platforms, A Praying Girl Child, Young People For Jesus, Rotaract Bulawayo, TUSK, councillors, churches, just to mention a few, to amplify our reach.
Six years of hope.
None of this would have been possible without the unwavering dedication of our members, volunteers, donors, and partners. Your time, resources, and belief in our mission have been the driving force behind every smile we have restored, every life we have touched, and every moment of darkness we have helped to light.
Looking ahead.
As we celebrate this milestone, we reaffirm our commitment to ābringing hope to everyone.ā
Together we can.
