Innovation has no gender and these young girls continue to prove it every single time.

From coding and robotics to problem-solving and groundbreaking ideas, girls are not just participating in innovation spaces… they are leading them. At the Provincial Hackathon, it was inspiring to see girls represented in almost every team, confidently building solutions, sharing ideas, and showing that they belong in every tech and innovation room.

What stood out the most was seeing this brilliance across every age group from elementary level all the way to senior level. The passion, confidence, creativity, and intelligence shown by these girls proves that innovation starts early and grows stronger when girls are empowered and supported.

Girls are capable. Girls are creative. Girls are powerful innovators. The future of technology is brighter when girls are given the space, support, and opportunity to shine.

To every girl daring to dream, create, invent, and lead keep going. Your ideas matter, your voice matters, and your brilliance is changing the future.

Yesterday we had an amazing time live on Khulumani FM talking about the incredible innovations showcased at Zimbabwe International Trade Fair and one thing stood out clearly when young innovators, creators, and competing teams come together, real solutions are born.

Competition is important, but collaboration is even more powerful. Different minds, different skills, and different ideas coming together can solve real community challenges and shape a better future through technology and innovation.

To every young person with an idea: your innovation matters. Don’t be afraid to showcase it, build it, and share it with the world.

We encourage more schools, startups, innovators, and young tech enthusiasts to participate in next year’s ZITF and be part of the movement driving Zimbabwe into the future.

Today on our World Robot Olympiad Solution Spotlight, we shine a light on the incredible innovation coming from Lone Scientist Elementary School!

Blending tradition with technology, these young innovators brought the theme “Robot Meets Culture” to life by creating a robotic mortar and pestle a powerful symbol of how robotics can preserve and elevate our cultural heritage. What was once done manually is now reimagined through engineering, coding, and creativity.

What makes this even more inspiring? This innovation is coming from pre-school learners. Yes the future of robotics is being shaped from the earliest stages of learning. It’s proof that you’re never too young to start building, creating, and thinking like an innovator.

This project is more than just a robot it’s a statement. A statement that robotics is the future, and that future is inclusive of every age. From pre-school learners to advanced innovators, the world of robotics is open, accessible, and full of opportunity for everyone.

We are witnessing a generation that doesn’t just consume technology they build it. They are solving real world problems, modernizing traditional practices, and proving that innovation can start from the very beginning of one’s learning journey.

At its core, robotics is about thinking differently, creating boldly, and solving problems that matter. And today, Lone Scientist Elementary reminds us that even the youngest minds can lead us into the future.

The future is here.
The future is robotics.
And the future belongs to everyone.
