Ons CDA en CCW van De Doorns het saam met die fisioterapiestudente van Stellenbosch en die P4L-mammas ’n sessie gehad oor hoe om kinders met serebrale gestremdheid te hanteer, te ondersteun en met hul liggaamsbewegings te help. Die sessie het waardevolle kennis gedeel om die kinders se versorging en ontwikkeling te bevorder.

By ons dagsorg in Touwsrivier het die leerders gedurende pouse heerlik saamgekuier. Hulle het hul kos en speelgoed met mekaar gedeel en die geleentheid benut om saam te speel, te gesels en sosiaal met mekaar te verkeer.

Hierdie eenvoudige, maar waardevolle oomblikke bevorder samewerking, omgee, deel en die bou van positiewe verhoudings tussen die leerders. ⭐

Our staff are attending the Kinderfonds MAMAS Share Conference in Benoni, joining fellow organisations supported by this incredible partner.

They will also have the opportunity to share our own journey and experiences on "Measuring Impact: Listening, Learning and Leading Through Data."

Nutrition Alliance has proudly been tasked with the distribution of food on behalf of The Department of Health and Wellness and Food Forward in Riverview, Avian Park, Roodewal, Zwelenthemba and De Doorns. For 75 years, BVAPD has grown, adapted and worked towards a future where persons with disabilities are recognised for their abilities, potential and contributions.

As we celebrate this milestone, we also honour Alderman Willem (Thys) Blom for 25 years of dedicated leadership and welcome Lyndon Van Wyk as our new Chairperson.

Our journey continues with a renewed focus on inclusion, skills development, independence and meaningful opportunities.

Our past has shaped us. Our people inspire us. Our future is full of possibility.
