On behalf of all of us at Pacific Brass Band, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Artscape for the invitation and the wonderful opportunity to be part of the Artscape Rural Outreach Programme.
Being part of the gala evening on 23 October 2026 was a truly special experience for us. We are grateful to have been given the opportunity to share our music, represent our community, and contribute to an evening that celebrated the beauty and power of arts and culture.
What makes the Artscape Rural Outreach Programme so meaningful is its commitment to reaching communities, creating opportunities, and giving local artists and arts organisations a platform to share their passion and talent. For community-based organisations like ours, opportunities such as these mean so much. They encourage us to keep going, keep growing, and continue using music to bring people together.
At Pacific Brass Band, music is more than just what we do. It is part of who we are, our heritage, our identity, and our way of connecting with people. Being part of this programme has reminded us of what is possible when people believe in the arts and invest in the talent within our communities.
To the Artscape team, thank you for thinking of us, for opening your doors to Pacific Brass Band, and for allowing us to be part of this beautiful initiative. We appreciate the work you do and the difference you continue to make through the arts.
We left the evening feeling grateful, encouraged, and excited about what the future may hold. We sincerely hope this will be the beginning of a lasting relationship, with many more opportunities to work together and make a meaningful contribution to arts and culture in our communities.
